'My art is like real life: a journey, an adventure, changing and often a bit rough.'
Born in Breda and after wandering through London and Amsterdam, I settled in the artists' village of Laren NH. I have a creative free spirit and am a realistic dreamer with ambition, a strong preference for round shapes and with a social message.
During the many years I participated in the 'personal development' sculptingcourse by Rene van der Wiel at the Gooise Academy in Laren NH, I discovered my own creative style and I continued developing it ever since. My artwork is evolving and diverse.
Social issues for inspiration
Art reflects the zeitgeist and what we are as a society, but above all where we are moving.
My artworks arises from my interpretation of social developments and challenges.
I like to contribute to the necessary social change through creation and aim for reflection and awareness.
Part of the profits of my art is used for a social purpose (see below).
